Privacy Policy

Last updated ·

This page explains, in plain language, how personal data submitted through this website is handled. The intent is full transparency and full alignment with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Polish Personal Data Protection Act (RODO).

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data submitted through this website is Mikołaj Klimek, an independent web developer based in Poland.

For any privacy-related question or request, write to klimek.mikolaj@icloud.com.

2. Data I collect

The site only collects what you explicitly send through the contact form:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • An optional company name
  • The message you choose to share

A short-lived request timestamp and the originating IP address are processed in memory to enforce rate limiting and basic spam protection. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies are used on this site.

3. How I use your data

Personal data submitted through the contact form is used solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Discuss a potential collaboration
  • Maintain a record of correspondence relevant to that engagement

Your data is never sold, never used for marketing, and never subject to automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Service providers

Email delivery is handled by Resend(Resend, Inc., United States), acting as a data processor on my behalf. Your name, email, and message are transmitted through Resend’s infrastructure to deliver the contact email.

You can review Resend’s privacy practices at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Retention

Inquiry-related data is kept only as long as necessary to handle our conversation and any resulting collaboration, and is then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time, and I will action it without undue delay.

7. International transfers

Because Resend operates from the United States, transmitting your contact message can involve a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are safeguarded through the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR / RODO, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and obtain a copy
  • Request rectification or erasure
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).

To exercise any of these rights, email klimek.mikolaj@icloud.com.

9. Cookies and tracking

This site does not set marketing or analytics cookies and does not run behavioural tracking. Only strictly necessary technical state required to render the page may be used.

10. Updates to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in service providers, legal requirements, or the website itself. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
